i’m so glad you’re here

Wondrous Workshops is designed for established makers and artists who want to share their craft through hosting art workshops. In this beta round, we're exploring the core teachings of the program through audio diary reflections.  It’ll be a lighter, more experimental format as we develop the full curriculum together.  Whether you're new to teaching or have felt scattered after past workshops, you’ll build the confidence and practical tools to create workshop experiences that work for you.

Each week I'll send a short audio diary debriefing a pottery workshop I'm currently planning through the lens of the program modules.  You'll get a real-time perspective on what goes into planning a workshop and the nuances behind my decisions.

I really do want your thoughts, questions and feedback as they'll help make the program even more useful! Please join the Slack channel where you can asynchronously ask questions, bounce around workshop ideas, and explore the reflection prompts together.

I’m excited to create some wondrous workshops alongside you!

Hello, I’m Amber!

I’m the sensitive-souled ceramicist behind Sunfish Studio!

And it's not just alliteration that sets my soul alight: it's the feeling of clay beneath my fingertips, the slower pace of island life here on Haida Gwaii, and artists sharing their gift with the world.

I'm all about the deliberate, the meaningful, the fulfilling and the connected.
